For us in conjunction with Honeywell Home Evohome Thermostat Pack (Code 4512H). Fits any Honeywell standard radiator valve body or a wide variety of industry standard fittings. The time program can be individually adapted to a day to day routine. Up to 6 set points per day and 3 different set point temperatures. Features Eco, Holiday and Day-Off modes. Auto-window function closes the radiator valve when ventilating the room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worthwhile reading first 1.Check your radiator TRVs are compatible with this product, google "HR92 trv compatible list" 2. Either purchase compatible TRV kits or change your TRV. 3. If your TRVs are old and non compatible I would recommend you change the TRV anyway. 4. If a new radiator or system ensure the TRVs are compatible. 5. store your old thermostats when replacing with this item. (see below) This kit must have the Honeywell EVO home controller, a lovely piece of key and one of the few on the market which allow multi zone. I would recommend if you are installing or tweaking your installation that you install a zone valve to control different parts of the property. This could be a different floor or business / residential use; as this will give you better control and possible better savings on heating costs when combined with the Evohome system. After installing the batteries, Programme the HR92 when close to the Evohome controller. The HR92 are easy to fit to the radiator, but do ensure you do not cross thread when screwing on the base kit. This detaches from the HR92 by sliding the horizontal bar under the main barrel unit. When you have fitted the base just click the barrel unit on and slide the bar to lock into position. Having preset the HR92 you will hear the motor setting the valve to its setting. Comfort wise these provide a great deal of flexibility through programming your exact requirements, saving on heating costs will depend on not only the programming but your desired temperature. If you move, you can put the old thermostats back on the TRVs and take the Evo system and HR92 with you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love it... A big well done to Honeywell... I use a seperate home automation system called Home Assistant, guess what... Evohome is compatible with it aswell. I can even view graphs of set and actual temperatures of each room/zone. I was going to buy a nest and similar... But all decided to pull the plug on "developers" gaining access to required files for extra perks e.g. Home Assistant. IFTT is similar. And it even allows me to ask Alexa to "Set living room to 22" Fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate Heating Control This system allows remote control of each radiator for both temperature and time. For example you can set the bathroom rad to get to temperature early in the morning and last thing at night but the lounge only to get to full temperature in the evening. Each rad can have up to 6 different temperature bands during each day. The controller (which you need to buy separately) is only really used for setup. Everything else can be configured and used via the mobile app. You can download the app and try it in demo mode to see how it works. In summary its expensive but brilliant.

How does these work ?

How does it know the room temp ? Is there a seperate sensor placed at different part of the room ? If the sensor is built within the valvue surley it would get a false read.

Moisture proof and manually controllable?

Are these safe to use in a bathroom. Will they be affected by the steam from a shower? Also, are you able to adjust the temperature on these manually as you would with a normal thermostat value if you didn't have the control unit to hand?

Yes you can use the HR92 in the bathroom. The environmental standards are: Operating temperature: 0 – 50 °C Humidity: 10 – 90% RH non condensing However, care should be taken to site the components away from direct exposure to high levels of moisture or splashing You can also manually adjust the temperature but it will be kept until the next schedule on the evohome controller starts.

How are the controllers powered? Battery. Mains even??

The HR92 Radiator controller needs 2 AA, LR6 or AM3 batteries. As alternative, there can be used 2x Lithium 1,5V or 2x NiMH 1,2V rechargeable batteries.
