Thank you for your question. This extinguisher is manufactured to BSEN3. Therefore there is a Manufacture Date printed on the can, and when the unit is installed and commissioned according to BS5306 Part 3 & 8, the service label will be applied to the can, showing date of Next Service Due, and also the Discharge Test Due date. The unit should be inspected at least one per year after date of installation/commissioning. There is not an Expiry Date as such, however the British Standard for Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers (BS5306 Part 3 &8) states the correct way to calculate the Discharge Date (which is instead of Expiry Date).
