Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Absolute piece of garbage, never cut straight for me no matter how many times I adjusted the back rest,in the end I had to cut the back rest in half and still didn’t cut it square, then I had a problem with changing the blade.in the end I went with a dewalt brand and so far so good

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blade size I was just about to buy this when I thought I'd get a wood only blade for it, the problem is the weird sizes of the blades makes it not worth buying. Don't think Screwfix even sells them so got the Titan model instead, even though this looks better made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Evolution saw Very good saw use for the first time today and had no problems, cuts very nice and clean, the assemble was very straight forward as I use the video, if I had a gripe, it was the extremely short electric cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent saw Great piece of kit. Good saw blade which goes through timber like a warm knife through butter. Ideal for DIY or professional joiner

Does this cut off the horizontal? So would it cut skirting board for internal and external corners?

Asked by: TheDev
Yes, the skirting board would have to be horizontal to cut it.

Can this saw cut through 41x41mm unistrut?

Going to have alot to cut for a home project and this one seems to fit the bill. Also understand that the right blade will need to be select.
Asked by: Saxosean
This dimension is within the cutting capacity, but for volume cutting this would not be suitable. If it is stainless unistrut then no it is not suitable.

Can you pick your mitre angle (no perfect right angles in my flat), or is it just a select few pre-defined angles?

Asked by: EmilyC
This model does have a bevel gauge. 0° - 45° bevel tilt and 50˚ - 50˚ mitre covers all common cutting angles accurately & easily.

Sawing wood

Can you recommend a blade for fine cutting wood? I don't need to cut anything else. Very happy with the product by the way.
Asked by: Afriend234
If you want a fine cut get a blade with more teeth. The more teeth the smoother the finish but the slower the cut. Fewer teeth is quick cutting but the finish is not so good. You can get a pretty good cut with a course blade if you lower the blade very slowly but if you are doing a lot of fine cutting I recommend you invest in a bespoke blade.
