Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Hex Bit Bought this to drive coach bolts into oak sleepers. Drilled pilot hole first, but this bit was awesome. Magnet held the substantial screws easily and precisely, and no slipping or spinning on the bolt heads... last hex bit was knackered after a hard days use - this one never broke a sweat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good bit! Having lost my inferior hex bit in a hedge this replacement certainly did the trick. Well made, as you'd expect from Erbauer and robust. I would cut down the hedge to retrieve this!

Would this fit an M6 size head coach screw?

Will this fit a standard cordless drill or does it have to be an impact driver.

Hello ajc123, This item states it was specifically designed for impact drivers. This would be due to the increased torque and hammer action from an impact driver. That said, there should be no reason why it wouldn't work in a normal combi drill or drill driver. Thank you for using Q&A (CW)

Does this socket fit a 17mm A/F bolt head ?

Is the 10mm in the spec/details of this item, the bolt thread size M10 bolt which has a 17mm A/F head or this it the A/F size which is a M6 bolt with a 10mm A/F head.
