Bessey Lever Clamp 12" (3156K)

Lightweight, easy to handle, dimensionally-stable and torsion-resistant lever clamp. Quickly clamps using the force of the lever, producing high pressures. Fixed bracket and pressure plate are produced and tempered from a single piece of steel. This guarantees torsion-resistance, maximum tensile strength and sturdiness. Sintered steel cams are particularly hardwearing with low friction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid clamps These are definitely not lightweight as the description would have you believe! Has the weight of cast iron with immense clamping force. All metal parts except for release trigger. Will last a lifetime.

The throat depth is the depth of the clamping distance measured from the bar to the point where the clamping surfaces act on the materials to be held.
