Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the dirty job you need It's never a pleasant job unblocking and cleaning drains, but sometimes "needs must when the devil drives". If the blockage is bad then it's the double worm tool first, then this brush to clear away the rest and give the drains a good brush out. If the blockage isn't too bad then this brush will move on the blockage to the main drain drop in the road or to an inspection chamber for removal. I found it fitted nice and tight onto the rod and did the job perfectly.

I have a set of "inherited" wooden rods. Is it likely that this head will fit my old rods? Can I bring a rod in and try it?

I bought it with the assurance I could return it as long as it was in "as new" condition with the label still on the item. Fair enough. And YES! It does fit my old rods, Perfectly. Seagulls beware!
