Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sharp aggressive jab saw It's a good sharp and aggressive jab saw which makes light work cutting plasterboard, PIR insulation and other such suitable materials. I wanted a short jab to help with PIR and board cutting around rafter and joist joints, areas that were just too tight and tricky for a board saw, so ordered this. Picked it up with lots of other stuff and didn't notice it's 30cm long until unpacked at home, it's not 15cm like the title is today / at time of purchase. I was intending to return it, but hit some of these awkward joints later that day, so reached for this saw and to be fair, it worked well and I'm glad I kept it. Sharp, course cut verging on aggressive side, reasonably thin blade but not the thinnest, has a good bit of bend to it yet can still cut straight if careful. The point is sharp and allows it to force through boards (50mm pir on that day) and the bend in the blade allowed me to cut down rafters and get decent fits each time. I like the handle, vs a straight handle online with blade. Was more comfortable and allowed for better control, especially when in difficult positions and spaces. The extra length is a mixed bag, sometime I was grateful for it others not so much, when in tight confinded spaces etc. I will buy a second of these and cut down the blade to shorter length and then be sorted for any scenario and for the price, why not.

Which Jabsaw/ keyhole saw is made for cutting wood?

I need to extend the height of a letterbox hole in a wooden door. I have seen advise that a keyhole saw is right for the job - but every tool I see is for plasterboard only. Which Jabsaw/ keyhole saw is made for cutting wood?
