Useful as an outdoor light or more decorative?
Looking to go back to a on/off switch light. This looks to be well made and last but is it bright enough for illuminating front porch with one or should I look elsewhere? Kind of a hard question to answer I guess. Current light is right next to door.

Hello Ryesher,
This product needs a GU10 lamp so provided you get a high lumen, high colour temperature one then it suit your needs.

What is the cable entry position?
Is there a top cable entry point to allow me to run cable down the wall to this light, or does the cable have to run through the wall into the back?
Asked by: WowAllTheNamesTaken
Hello WowAllTheNamesTaken,
This particular light requires cable entry from the rear (behind metal base piece, only).

Can these point straight down?
I can't tell how they hinge at the back of the light between it and the mounting. How much angle is adjustable?
Asked by: DIYJimV
Hello DIYJimV
This light has a 90° angle of adjustment from straight down to straight ahead. You call also rotate the unit 180° so that it can point upwards as well.

Fitting a plug
Can this light be fitted fitted with a plug
Asked by: Gormzy
Hello Gormzy.
As far as we are aware you can fit a plug on the end of your cable as long as correct size fuse used and cable entrance is at rear of wall plate.
Thank you for using Q&A, [BH].
