Find out more about how to find stock of your required products, secure stock and other helpful answers to your stock questions. Checking stock online at Screwfix.com is easy to do and the stock levels shown on our website will give you a live and accurate view of what we have available.

• How do I check stock in my local store

  Checking stock on the Screwfix website is easy, use the search bar at the top of our webpage, typing in the product name or code if you know it, you do not need to log in or create an account at this stage. Next, select your product, and click on the "click and collect" button on the right hand side. Please then enter your location to see your 6 closest stores, select your preferred location, and the quantity of stock in that store will show underneath the store name. To place an order and to secure the stock you can now move through the checkout screens where you can sign in or create and account before making payment.

• Can you reserve stock without payment?

  No - Currently we do not offer a stock reservation service, therefore, an order must be placed and paid for in full either online, in store or by phone to secure the available stock.

• The item I want is out of stock, when will it be back in?

  We aim to replenish out of stock items within 2-3 weeks, however, this timescale may be extended depending on the product and supply. As soon as replenishment stock is received our website and systems will be updated accordingly to reflect this. You can check stock for deliveries and in store collection at any time, by viewing the product and line and checking available against your chosen store.

• The item I want is out of stock in my store, but in stock in another, can this be transferred?

  Currently we are unable to transfer available stock between our stores, however you can use our Store Locator to see if there is any stock in stores near to you.

  Also, if you’re in store, we can now check local availability, take payment and secure stock in another Screwfix store. Your order will be ready to collect from your selected store in as little as 1 minute, during store opening hours.
