Essential Click & Collect Service

Our stores remain open to provide a Click & Collect service for essential products only. New measures have been put in place to protect both our colleagues and customers.


  • Current store opening hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Sat and 9am-4pm Sun (NI 1-6pm), please check the latest Covid-19 Service Update for any changes to your local store opening hours.
  • Northern Ireland, Douglas – IOM, Inverness, Elgin & Oban Next Day orders will take up to 2 working days.
  • Collecting Next Day items may be subject to delays.
  • To cancel your Click & Collect order and obtain a refund, please go to the Contact Us Form. Select the ‘Cancel Click & Collect Order’ in the drop down list. As soon as the refund has been processed you’ll be sent a refund confirmation via email.

When will my order be ready to collect?

We will send you an SMS as soon as your items are ready to collect, do not come to store unless you have received this and please check store opening information here before travelling.

Collect Today

Collect Today items are in stock at your selected Screwfix Store and will be available to collect within minutes of placing your order (when stores are open). Collect Today orders placed outside of store opening hours will be available when the store is next open.

Collect Next Day

When you order for Collect Next Day we send the item from the warehouse to your chosen store ready for you to collect the next day. The exact date that your Collect Next Day items will be ready is shown on the order confirmation page and the order confirmation email. Please note due to the current measures in place between ourselves and our delivery partners on some occasions we may experience delays against these confirmed dates.

Here are some additional details about our Click & Collect service.

  • Can I have items for collection and delivery in the same order?

    Yes, you can order for both collection and delivery in the same order. Payment will be taken for the whole order and any delivery charges, discounts and bulk savings will be based on the entire basket total.

  • I'm going to collect my order from store, what do I need to bring with me?

    When collecting your items, depending on your method of payment, along with your order number, you will need to bring the following:

    Debit/Credit Card Payment

    • The payment card you used to purchase your items (for security purposes you will need to verify your card using chip & PIN).


    • If using PayPal, you must bring photo ID, such as a Driving Licence or Passport (the name on the ID must match the name details in the payments section of the order).

    Trade UK Card

    • If you have paid with a Trade UK Card you need to take either the Trade UK Card OR another valid proof of employment for the business you are collecting on behalf of.
    • Your order reference which will be on the order confirmation email or SMS.
  • When I visit the store to collect my order, where do I go?

    If you need to visit a store to collect your item, you must respect the strict Social Distancing measures we’ve put in place for the safety of both our customers and colleagues. Please do not come to store unless you have received an SMS to let you know your item is ready, also check below to see if your local store is open before travelling.

  • What happens if I don’t collect my order from store or I no longer want it?

    If you don't collect your order from store, after 21 days the items will be automatically put back to stock, after this time or if at any time you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible to either arrange a new order for collection or a full refund.

  • Want to cancel your Click & Collect Order?

    To cancel your Click & Collect order and obtain a refund, please go to the Contact Us Form and simply select the “Cancel Click and Collect Order” in the drop down list, as soon as the refund has been processed you’ll be sent a refund confirmation via email.
