Click & Collect Service

The quickest way to shop with us is using our Click & Collect service. You can check stock in your local store, pay online and collect your item(s) from your chosen store. There are some items that are sent from our distribution centre and will arrive to your selected store within 24 – 48 hours. Please wait for your 'Ready to collect' SMS before travelling.

We are currently operating a one-way system in all stores, so when collecting your item(s) please follow the signage and floor stickers and have your payment card/ID ready.

Here's how it works:

  • Shop on Screwfix.com or via the Screwfix app and select your items for Click & Collect.
  • Select the item/items you wish to order. Our stock availability checker will confirm if your item is available to collect today or collect within 24 – 48 hours
    • Collection today means your item is one of 10,000 that we keep in our stores.
    • Collect within 24 – 48 hours days is where the other 25,000 of our products are kept in our distribution centre, therefore your product will need to be delivered to your chosen store.
  • Please wait for your SMS to confirm your order is ready to collect in store before travelling to collect your items
    • If your Click & Collect order contains items which are available to collect today AND collect within 24-48 hour items you will receive two SMS’s. The first SMS will be on the same day your order is placed to collect the first part of your order. The second SMS will be within 24-48 hours to collect the remainder of your order
  • Our stores are open 7am–8pm Mon–Fri, 7am–6pm Sat, 9am–4pm Sun (NI 1pm–6pm) *Local restrictions apply
  • Geographical restrictions still apply – For Northern Ireland, the Scottish Isles, The Isle Of Man and certain mainland post codes the delivery service is currently between 48 – 72 hours.

Here are some additional details about our Click & Collect service.

  • Can I have items for collection and delivery in the same order?

    Yes, you can order for both collection and delivery in the same order. Payment will be taken for the whole order and any delivery charges, discounts and bulk savings will be based on the entire basket total.

  • I'm going to collect my order from store, what do I need to bring with me?

    When collecting your items, depending on your method of payment, along with your order number, you will need to bring the following:

    Debit/Credit Card Payment

    • The payment card you used to purchase your items (for security purposes you will need to verify your card using chip & PIN).

    Paypal

    • If using PayPal, you must bring photo ID, such as a Driving Licence or Passport (the name on the ID must match the name details in the payments section of the order).

    Trade UK Card

    • If you have paid with a Trade UK Card you need to take either the Trade UK Card OR another valid proof of employment for the business you are collecting on behalf of.
    • Your order reference which will be on the order confirmation email or SMS.
  • When I visit the store to collect my order, where do I go?

    If you need to visit a store to collect your item, you must respect the strict Social Distancing measures we’ve put in place for the safety of both our customers and colleagues. Please do not come to store unless you have received an SMS to let you know your item is ready, also check below to see if your local store is open before travelling.

  • What happens if I don’t collect my order from store or I no longer want it?

    If you don't collect your order from store, after 21 days the items will be automatically put back to stock, after this time or if at any time you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible to either arrange a new order for collection or a full refund.

  • Want to cancel your Click & Collect Order?

    To cancel your Click & Collect order and obtain a refund, please go to the Contact Us Form and simply select the “Cancel Click and Collect Order” in the drop down list, as soon as the refund has been processed you’ll be sent a refund confirmation via email.
