Cooker Switches
(126 products)
Cooker switches provide a convenient way of installing the electrical cooking appliance rather than using a traditional plug and socket. A cooker switch is not usually an isolator, rather it is just an easy means of switching the appliance off in case of emergency and is therefore normally installed in an accessible location within a set distance from the appliance. A cooker control unit contains both the cooker switch and a cooker socket, which can act as an isolator. A neon light is useful as it acts as a visual that identifies if power is being provided to the cooker. The installation regulations can vary between the two options so it is always advisable to consult a qualified professional.
