can you use 10mm rods in M12 resin capsules
Hi I need the extra length as I am fixing into concrete and will need to hold down 3M metal legs for a large carport and do Rawlplug make M10X160mm rods ??

The short answer is no. Capsules such as the R-CAS-V have a specific volume designed to fill the space between the studding and hole wall. Using an M10 stud increases the volume required to be filled with resin by +29%.

Does the capsule work if there is a through hole rather than a blind hole in a 100mm common brick?

R-CAS-V resin capsules are only suitable for use in concrete, our R-KEM-II injection resin is more suitable for fixing into
masonry/ brickwork. For fixing into a through hole you need to use a plastic mesh sleeve to contain the resin & stop it pouring out the other side.

Is stud removable
I want to use these to fix a threaded insert into a slab so I can secure items to it with a bolt or a stud. However, I want to be able to remove the items including the bolt/studs without leaving a tripping hazard. Would this product be suitable?

Hi, i would recommend using an injection resin such as R-KEM II (product code 32863) with an internally threaded socket, this will allow you to screw a bolt into the internal thread in the socket and then remove it at a later date as required. Using the capsule with a stud will securely bond in the stud which will then not be removeable. I would also not recommend using the capsule with a socket as the resin mixture may not be correct for this application.
