Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hold On! I purchased these to fix some very heavy composite soundboard acoustic wall panels, circa 39Kg each, to walls. I had previously purchased a small blister pack of some 'own brand' fixings from a DIY shed. The pack contained just 10 fixings and was quite expensive, these RAWLPLUG fixings were a much better price and have done an excellent job of fixing the boards to the wall.

Will this work to attach a light metal bracket to an outside wall top

This depends on the type of substrate you are fixing into, solid or perforated brick, solid/ hollow block, aerated lightweight block etc, also for corrosion protection you should use a stainless steel product.
