What size of clips do I need to fasten this onto the wall or wood ?

It should be noted that any support fixings used to support the cable must not lead to premature collapse of the cable in a fire, regardless of whether the cable itself is fire resistant or not. Clause 521.10.202 in BS7671 refers. We do not provide guidance on the most suitable clips to use for the twin and earth as we do not supply these, but would advise the cable is 5.3mm x 9.9mm in dimension. The clips need to be either steel or copper in construction

could this cable run along a fence in ducting ?

It is the responsibility of the system designer to select the most appropriate cable for the installation, application and environment intended. We are not system designers and cannot offer assistance in this area. We recommend that you consult a qualified electrician and or consult BS7671 for guidance.
