Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good cutter It's a good cutter, went through paving slabs easily enough however "dustless" means "less dust than you would expect" - there's still a lot of dust but if you're cutting on a windy day it's no problem really. Decent length cord on it. Can't really comment on reliability yet as I've not had it long enough but I'd expect the usual Makita quality to apply.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dust everywhere Brilliant cutter, but there is nothing dustless about this tool there no point having the bag on and then with the vac makes it come out the sides of the cutter and covers the person using the tool

110v transformer required

A single phase transformer like the 84144 will do the job, yes? If not, what is recommended? Thanks

Which way does the blade cut?

Does the blade on this cut upcut or downcut?

Is this overkill for cutting splitface stone wall tiles?

I'd rather get a cutter than will be used more generally than buying something just for one job

Would you do this in a 240v (three pin plug)

Can I put standard 22.2 bore blades on this saw?

Asked by: Anonymous
Only by using a 22.23mm to 20mm reducing ring. I got two from a tiling tools site came to a couple of quid each turned up in 2 days and on a Saturday. But this will let you use any 125mm diameter 22.23 bore blade.
