Rated 4 out of 5 by from Outside light Very good outside light it was just right for the wall by the front door.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid Purchased 2no lights in September. Without full direct light they a redundant. Also 1 light has started to fail with water ingress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light Bought this light for use at home. Never in direct sunlight during the day, yet it worked perfect every time. Adjustable and easy to set up, literally just screw it to any wall and turn on the power button. Price is a little high but then you are getting a quality product. I will be buying another one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed This light has great features but requires full sunlight to give the solar cells the charge they need to enable it to function through the night. This means on a dull day it only works for a couple of hours rendering it useless. An expensive disappointment.

Can I replace the batteries, the light looks like a sealed unit if this is true that is not very green is it?
Asked by: NEVERBE
Hi NEVERBE, There is a battery door on the rear, sealed with 10 screws, as can be seen in the image of the back of the product.

Does this have 2 PIRs

Does it have 2 PIRs to sense movement from left and right
Asked by: Antman1
Hi Antman1, Yes there are sensor windows at both ends of the emitter array to allow for coverage in both directions as you say.

Why has this unit started flashing in early morning daylight?

The lamp has started giving two short flashes one half power and the other full power (I can't remember the order) every 10 seconds or so for at least an hour after dawn until the daylight gets brighter.
Asked by: Anonymous
Hi MrMagic, This is likely the transition period where it is almost light enough for the solar panel to begin generating power to charge the battery (hence the light would stop illuminating) but not quite enough for this to be constant, resulting in the unit flipping between charge mode and operational mode for a while and causing the brief flashes of illumination each time charging stops.

What type of battery/batteries does this product use

Asked by: chocbox
Hi chocbox, This solar floodlight takes 4 X 18650 Li-ion 3.7V batteries, which by standard are 2000mAH.

Can I place this on my doorstep as I do not want to attach it to a wall

Asked by: chocbox
Hi chocbox, The design is primarily intended for wall mounting, and you would definitely want to secure it somehow as it is fairly low weight for its size so could potentially be moved by strong winds or enterprising passers-by.
