Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great loft aerial Wanted a loft aerial, for easy access. Originally bought the Labgear aerial with the 12v booster, but it stopped working after a few hours. This aerial was easier to install. Only pointed roughly towards the mast & got all channels straight away. Aerial is physically big, but that’s what makes it so powerful. Brilliant .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good loft aerial Bought this item 60215, also fixing kit 34394 and cable 176JY to install in loft. Easy to assemble using supplied wingnuts, just a 10mm spanner for the angle of dangle adjustment. Pole supplied with fixing kit too short at 30cm for upper reflector to clear angle of roof (the reflectors are very big) when suspended, so used a spare Roughneck decking brush handle (about 120cm long) in lieu. Connected using supplied f connector. Aerial functions very well. Good signal strength and quality. Good loft aerial, although you need room for the reflectors. Not sure about longevity if fitted outside, given nature of assembly. Cable also good quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Professional grade aerial Finally got rid of my old satellite dish, but kept the mounting pole. This Ariel comes 90% built, you simply have to screw together 2 clamps and you are ready to mount. You will need an F type of connector to attach your cable to this. Very to clamp they use big wing nuts which you simply tighten by hand so no tools required when you are at the top of the ladder! Use your mobile phones compass to determine the direction where you need to face or look at all of your neighbours to see which way they are pointing. Re-scanned tv after installing and instantly achieved about another 15 channels and loads more radio stations. Perfect as I want to get a sound bar now. The cable you will need is an R6 coax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Suitable for loft use only Very large unit which would suit indoor loft space belter than exposed to the elements. No matter how much you tighten the fittings they still remain alarmingly loose.

Postcode SA43 2DR. Which is the best aerial for this location. I prefer loft mounted and we have direct line of site to the Blaenplwyf transmitter. Thanks.

Asked by: Graham502
The recommended Aerial will be the LAB450 Series see see the following website for transmitter information it is 25 miles away and as you have stated you have a good line of sight so you know its location, however the signal is not very strong so you may have problems putting it in the loft where the signal will be reduced.

Will this work NP25 4QJ

Asked by: Reese1796
The overall Freeview reception in this area is on the low side, the Labgear Tri-Boom Digital Aerial aligned towards the nearest main transmitter at Ridge Hill 22 degrees would be the best option.
