Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Vice Bought this vice to replace a cheaper one which disintegrated after one years use. Reassuringly weighty this vice has proved an excellent investment. After 2 years regular usage the screw mechanism is still as smooth as when new with a reassuringly tight grip. Best to buy quality first time. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vice Squad Admirable product and re-assuring heavy. Nicely finished and seems very robust. Jaw pressure is even and acme thread runs smoothly. Guide rods also run smoothly but benefit from dry lubricant. I used graphite grease. Holes for vice jaws not threaded so need to use nuts or alternatively thread M8.

What is the clamping Force

Is this vice quick release?

Asked by: StevenThePlasterer

Mounting Bolt Size

The question has already been asked but there is no answer. What size mounting screw/bolt is required to fit this to a work bench and what is the size of the holes in the face for adding wooden vice jaws? Many thanks
Asked by: RichN55

Screw hole size

What size are the holes that attach the rear jaw to the workbench

Vice width ?

Add says 200mm ! Specifications says 175mm width. Need to know what it measures across the face of the vice
Asked by: Billy1952
It states 265mm jaw width so as you're asking what it measures across the face I assume that's what you mean. I'm with you on the confusing description though, described as 7" and 200mm, then states 175mm in the details. 175mm fits with the 7" but the 200mm doesn't fit anywhere
