Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best After reading good reviews for this leg i went ahead and ordered it, arrived well packed and no damage but there it ends had to use a tap and dye set to run the thread through the plate and the top of the leg and the screw bolt landed up in the bin far to much plating on the thread to use it, ended up using a new countersunk bolt that i had in my toolbox so be aware you might need a new bolt and tap set before you can use this leg

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worktop legs Good: price, good overall quality of metal leg and top bracket, looks good, easy to fit, screw adjustment in the foot for height. Not so good: plastic foot is not so robust. One was damaged on arrival (inadequately packed) so had to be replaced.

What size bolt do I need to fix the plate through the centre hole of the leg please?

Can this be cut to length required

Although Screwfix have said it cannot be cut to length, I bought two of these for a low desk at work and cut both to length. You need to carefully knock out the extender at the base, cut to desired length (I used a mitre saw with a blade designed to cut metal to perform this) and finally replace the extender before fitting.

Hello, I can see that the metal plate attaches to the underside of the worktop, but how does the plate attach to the leg? im wondering if the leg can be removed from the plate easily allowing me to remove the leg frequently?
