Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good drill bit......but!! It’s a good drill bit but it is very aggressive and you have to use a very slow speed. Once The pilot part goes through the workpiece the larger part grabs and drags the bit through very quickly which could hit something on the other side of the work piece. If used at slow speed and with care it’s good, I dare say this issue is worse with the bigger bit sizes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware: Pilot tip is weak! Very disappointed!. I assumed the Dewalt name was enough to recommend this item but I was very wrong as the pilot tip broke off. Not a cheap bit, either, but the only individual 9mm bit I could find. Is this poor design? I don't buy into the benefit of of the pilot tip if it so significantly undermines the performance and life of the bit.
