Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made such a difference I’ve read the negative reviews on this product in various magnifications especially in relation to the described small vari-focal window. Now I’ve tried them on and worked with them they make such a difference. I wonder whether previous reviewers didn’t realise the arms are adjustable and that it makes a big difference when adjusted accordingly? As I type I’m wearing them and yes I’m aware of the split lens but visually it appears that the lens is split 50/50 top to bottom. I look up and it’s clear I look down and it’s my reading prescription. For me they hold my head and don’t fall off my nose like my regular readers and are genuinely a god send product that I should have bought years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reading bifocals These are great value, excellent reading bifocals for over 40s who otherwise need reading lenses and have otherwise clear distance vision. They are not magnifiers. Means you do not have to wear reading glasses under other protective specs. They are correct tension on my temples to not fall down.

They are decent enough to wear all the time when working and the small magnification area at the bottom is great for fine work. But.... I do think the bad reviews are a result of some poor description on the website. It needs to be made clear these only magnify like bifocals (near the bottom of the lens). If you think about it, you wouldn't keep reading glasses on for all aspects of work, so there's no point in magnification all over the lens. I think they're comfortable and really handy for electrical work. They just need a better photo and description.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Magnify Nothing The old adage of you get what you pay for did not work on this occasion. I have tried cheap safety glasses before and they either break, scratch easily, fog up or not comfortable. So I decided to pay the money for a quality product that gave me some magnification rather than having to wear my glasses underneath. Got them home tried them on and to be honest they magnified NOTHING. Don't buy these if you want to benefit from the magnification they are rubbish. Returned them for a refund and got a pair of over glasses pair for half the price.
