The button piece uses a coin CR2032 battery (which is supplied) and comes with a sticky pad, screws and sealing grommets for the button piece should you uses the screw fitting option. Can't comment on reliability yet, but I'm impressed so far...

Can the frequency be changed?

Hi, We have this doorbell chime unit installed in our hall, and one of our neighbours has this exact same doorbell. Both chimes ring if either push is pressed. Is it possible to change the frequency to make them independent? Thanks, Matthew
