(7 products)British General RCDs, or residual current devices, are designed for use in BG boards to provide important protection in cases of earth leakage. If this is detected on one of the circuits that the RCD protects, then power is shut off to all devices on the circuit to prevent the risk of electric shock. BG RCDs are Type AC and are available in a range of amp ratings.
