Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Would not recommend to anybody, after first use the spade snapped and the fork bent....but customers service at Scewfix was brilliant , they issued store credit with no questions asked and were as disappointed as me with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent tools I bought these having returned a branded contractors fork to a Screwfix competitor then taking its replacement back as that too had broken. I needed a fork for a job and was a bit sceptical about this twin pack as it was less then half the price of the other fork and you got a spade as well. The 5 year guarantee swayed me and I am glad it did as this fork has performed really well on a job where it has been put under a lot of stress levering out some well established tree and shrub roots. Excellent value for money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to scratch First impressions were that these were very light compared to prior spades and forks. I also thought they were a bit short. Very surprised to find that upon first use, my wife managed to bend one of the tines whilst digging bulbs out of the flower bed. My last fork lasted about 12 years it was an unbranded cheapy so quite disappointed to to find that the Spear and Jackson didn't last an hour.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time Used to dig over a garden, well tried to use them. The fork is an incredibly poor casting and has snapped just above the prongs. The spade bends incredibly easily making it pretty much useless for anything other than loose soil/sand. I guess you get what you pay for.
