Rated 4 out of 5Â by MisterDIYer Good Product, Would use again
I was a bit cautious buying this product as was looking for another well known product which was not in stock.
As another reviewer has pointed out, this is very hard to extract from the tube using a mastic gun, however I persevered with it.
Although this was more than I was looking at paying for the product I was happy with the results in the end.

Needed some low modulus, neutral curing silicone for some joints in oak worktops. Searched everywhere and this is the only one I could find, trust me! Was put off by previous review but decided to give it a go. Glad I did, it is perfect. Low mod neutral is the only stuff to use on wood joints as it permits movement. A lot of silicone you can buy doesn't give any specs so I researched them all, downloading PDFs etc and they were mostly HMA, some were LMA. (acetoxy cure) but no others were low mod neutral.
Don't know if the previous reviewer had a bad batch or if it was just inexperience but I can thoroughly recommend this product. I used it for a corner joint in the worktop and to seal all the oak upstands at the rear. Do all the joints before oiling the wood though as it will prevent adhesion. Clean off excess with white spirit before it sets.

I needed some good quality clear silicone to seal a Fraganite sink to a worktop so working on the basis that good silicone is not the cheapest I purchased two tubes of this one. What a disappointment! It took two hands to squeeze the trigger on my mastic gun & the goo that emerged from the nozzle was not inspiring in its appearance. Less than halfway down the first tube I gave up on that one & tried the second only to find that it was the same story. As it was the only sealant that I had to hand & having to get the job done I completed applying the sealant around the whole perimeter of the sink, albeit at the expense of very strained arm muscles, & the job is now curing. I cannot comment on the in-service performance of the sealant; only time will tell on that one. I do however know that I won't be buying Soudal Silirub+ S8000 Premium Silicone Adhesive & Sealant again. In fact I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole & would advise you to avoid it like the plague.
