Rated 5 out of 5Â by peteselfbuilder used for lighting circuit
these don't look as old fashioned as some of the plugs with the rounded tops - look more like an ordinary plug. Would look better though without the small square hole in the top, but its a minor thing

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Skipmeister Good solid plug
Made to BS 546, it does not fall within the European Low Voltage Directive, and therefore is exempt from CE marking. It is ideal for use on non-standard supplies (I use mine on a reduced voltage feed to a small heater). It does not require a fuse as it is designed for a radial spur, and not for a ring main. At the price it is really good value for a 250 volt 5 amp plug.

These don't have a fuse and don't seem to be CE marked.
