Rated 3 out of 5Â by RichSlaphead How to know when half a can
If you want to do two pipes you need to be sure to use half a can, so you have the right amount for both pipes. The can weights 600gms full & 100gms empty so stop when the can weighs 350gms and your're half way. But I would leave the tube in the hole during the 5mins wait cuz there's a jet of cold leaking out otherwise. Also do a nice tiny hole, not a frigging great gash (nice sometimes but not in this case :-) ).

didn't want to drain CH system so froze the water in the pipe and replaced the valve. Took 15 mins and I'm no plumber

Great product, saves a lot of time, don't have to dismantle or drain down system, but have everything to hand before starting work.

I'm an engineer and would like to think I can do most DIY jobs. However I needed to change my 3 way valve and was advised to use this stuff. 3 22mm pipes and 3 cans used. Nice cold pipes to start, but no sign of ice in the pipe when I undid the nuts! Water everywhere.
Looks like I'll be calling a plumber!
