Rated 3 out of 5 by from Silicone removal I found that it worked on the bath well but when i needed two remove it from shower screen channel it was not so good. I left it 15 minutes and did this twice but still not very effective?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just about does the job! With all the positive reviews here I was expecting something that would get the old sealant ready to peel off in 15 minutes - it seems like as much elbow grease is required with it as without it, even after an hour - perhaps it's best to let it soak in over night. I suspect this may in part by a limitation on the types of chemicals that can now be used in these kinds of products - paint stripper is another example where changes in legislation have led to less effective solutions being sold, usually at higher cost. I've used one or two other sealant removers and they all seem to be like this, so can't recommend one over the other.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok product Fine for getting very fine remnants of silicone off. The vast majority needs to be removed mechanically as this product has limited effectivity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Stuff! So pleased I discovered this stuff. Needed to get stubborn remains of silicone off before fitting new taps; simply brush it on with the built in brush, wait 15 mins (time for a quick cuppa!) and then scrap off. Wash and dry area and you're good to go. Much easier and less damaging then using a knife. Bonus - it's not too smelly.
