Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good Easier/smoother to use than previous brands I`ve used.Needed to repair lining panels and grate section of Rayburn.Applied easily and finished job looks ok and is holding up to initial burning as expected. Would recommend. 3 Sep 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Did the job This was very stiff which made it difficult to apply, but once in place it did the job. Was not sure if it first should have been worked or diluted to soften it. Clarification on the packaging would have been helpful. 26 Aug 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top Notch Fire Cement Hint: Although not mentioned on the packaging it is best to mix a small amount in a separate container by adding water until it's the consistency of toothpaste. Then use a small brush to dab or spread the fire cement onto the individual parts of the broken fire brick or any gaps that need filling. Leave for 24 hours to dry properly. 7 Jul 2016

Hi Harda. I'd also consider using Milliput; a two part epoxy resin cement. I used it to piece together a chiminea which had been broken into several pieces and it worked really well.

Answer:
Hello harda. As long as the temperature does not exceed 1250 degrees centigrade and the repair is left for at least 24 hours this would be suitable. Hope that helps.

Thank you for using Q&A.

Hello Nat766,

This product could be used for assembling a concrete BBQ, however we would advise you allow the cement to fully dry and cure before using the BBQ.

Thank you for using Q&A.

I need some adhesive that will fix tiles to the sides and base of my BBQ. Will this work from the point of being a tile adhesive and being weather proof? Thanks
