Rated 4 out of 5 by Does the job! Easy to use, top inch in pot had hardened so probably been around a while but what was underneath was fine. 9 Jun 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value Good value and easy to use. The only thing I found is that it needs a good amount of time to dry (like maybe a few days) before you apply high heat. Otherwise it shrinks slightly and can crack/crumble. Worked great sealing some gaps around the fireplace but had mixed results on repairing firebricks. Seems to work well for a few weeks but hen becomes brittle and cracks. 26 Mar 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cracking product Used to bridge gap from stove through a steel throat lintel did a cracking job and did not crack or fall out good price easy to use and could not have done the job with out it 5 STAR VALUE 9 Mar 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product I used this fire cement to repair the fire brick in my Stovax open fire place, which had broken into several pieces. I found that by using wet hands to work a lump of cement it became quite pliable and was easy to push into the cracks and gaps, which had been previously wetted using a small water spray. I forgot to tell my wife to allow it to dry for 24hrs before lighting the fire (as per the instructions on the tub) and she lit the fire only a couple of hours after I had done the work. I expected to see the cement crack up but there was no damage at all - not even a small crack. So, well pleased with the results!! 7 Mar 2016

I need some adhesive that will fix tiles to the sides and base of my BBQ. Will this work from the point of being a tile adhesive and being weather proof? Thanks

Hi, am after some advice Please!

I recently had a multifuel cassette stove 5kw fitted in my lounge with standard plaster. The plaster has now started to crack approx 4mm max in places around the top and sides. The plaster was washed coated and allowed to dry out for several months before the fire was lit.

Many Thanks in advance

I need a little of this to re-seal the joint between stove and flue. What to do with the other 1999 grams? I have a brick built open fire in another room that the pointing has failed in … and some bits of fire brick have flaked away. All still structurally sound but a bit scruffy. Can I use this fire cement for this job too?
