Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poor coverage The spec sheet claims a coverage of 11sq m per litre. So a 5 litre can should easily cover my 26sq m garage floor. I'm doing it half at a time because of all the stuff in there. The thinned first coat used 2.5 litres for 13sq m. The second coat used just over 2 litres. OK, my concrete floor is very rough but even so I was disappointed with the coverage and I'll need 2 cans rather than 1. Both coats were applied with a medium pile roller. Coverage aside, the price is still reasonable, it goes on easily, looks good and will be much easier to keep clean than the bare concrete. Only time will tell how hard-wearing it is but I expect it'll wear off fairly quickly on the high spots. I can live with that, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a difference Really improved the look of the garage floor. No strong odours, just good adhesion and ease of use at a good price.Fleet

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use Went on really easily with a roller, and looks stunning. Coverage seemed good, floor didn't need the sealer first, so that saved a lot of time and waiting. Had used grey paint previously, but the red looks so much better. Not sure about reliability yet, but I haven't managed to scuff it so far.

Can this paint be used on walls. looking to over paint some tiles on a kitchen wall and want something abit more durable than emulsion or std tile paint ?

removing the tiles is not an option as that would mean taking out the really old kitchen first and I just need to tidy a kitchen up until money arrives to fully renovate
Asked by: RayCa1278
Hello RayCa1278. You can apply this product onto wall tiles, however you would first need to apply an adhesion promoting primer to ensure sufficient adhesion of the Floor paint. I would also like to point out that this product is solvent based, so will create a very strong odour when drying. If you would like a water based durable paint, I would recommend the Leyland Trade Acrylic Eggshell. This paint is considered scrubbable, and is therefore suited for kitchen environments. However you would still need to apply an adhesion promoting primer prior to using this. Thanks.

can this be painted on to Pro 50 self levelling compound.

Asked by: bikerG
Hello bikerG. Unfortunately I cannot recommend specific self leveling compounds which can accept the Leyland Trade Heavy Duty Floor Paint. I would advise you consult with the manufacturer of the self leveling compound for advice regarding over decoration. Thanks
