Rated 5 out of 5Â by Del01 speedfit pipe and fittings
Bought this to fit a couple of extra rads,it did the pipe runs ok the only downside it has a mind of its own, a lot cheaper than copper with joints only where you want them, am certain it will outlast copper as well, would not recomend for exposed work as you wont get it to look good

Anyone that knows how to plumb knows where to and where not to use this pipe.

I used this product installing a new central heating system in my house. The coiled pipe is very difficult to straighten when installing through joists and virtually imposable to keep straight installing parallel to the joists. This also puts lots of pressure on joints used which will no doubt leak. I have now removed this product and installed straight length plastic pipe. Much easier to install and a few more joints but a better installation. Will not comment on reliability as I have not filled the system yet.

Having used other brands of barrier pipe, I come back to speedfit.
It is easy to use and forms bends without wanting to spring back at you.
The lockable fittings are reassuring,if a little bulky.
Will connect to copper no bother, but you must cut the copper with a wheel cutter or the speedfit fitting will score internally and leak.
