This Tape was useless. It says it will self adhere to any surface ! I painted the undercoat prep to my roof tiles and lead flashing, it did not stick at all, it was terrible, the self adhesive back looked the part but even after weighting down with bricks it just did not do what it claimed. I ended up (with no effort) sliding it all back off and throwing away. I took the second roll back to screwfix who gave me the money back for the unused roll.....do not waste your money, get the isoflex rubber paint - that was awesome.....

I bought this to line the gullies on a complicated shed roof and it seems to have done the job as well as I could have hoped. Using it is a bit of a learning process so a couple of tips which may help the first time user - me yesterday.
Cutting - it cuts easily with a stanley knife on a suitable surface or a large pair of sissors. However, both soon get covered in adhesive so it is worth taking along some white spirit and a cloth to clean the blades frequently.
Fitting large pieces. It has been suggested to cut into 1M lengths which I ignored and got wrapped up in the task rather. Second time I used the stanley knife to score the back in strips so that I could peel it off a bit at a time - proper job!
Finally,(actually, I did this first) I tried tests for sticking on a variety of surfaces and soaking under water. I found some porous ones where it just fell off so I tried again after applying a coat of bitumen paint and it was fine. Hopefully I shall be as pleased in 12 months time.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Philupmysenses Excellent flashing tape
Found this product reasonably easy to use, cut into approx 1mtr lengths.
Very good adhesion including to your fingers if not careful.
Very quick to apply.
As for how long it will last remains to be seen,
Appears to have done a great job.
