Rated 5 out of 5 by from Energer Multi Cutter Colleagues have told me to get a Multi Cutter for a while now. I had a job that needed cuts in difficult places so I took the plunge. I only wished I had bought one of these ages ago, it is brilliant. Although the least expensive on the market it is well made and looks as though it should last for a while hence the 4 stars for reliability. Cuts are very fine and accurate, does a precision job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dreadful tool! The unit doesn't have a lock mechanism so as hard as you can tighten the screw to hold the cutter blades in place, it's not enough. As soon as you start cutting, the vibration loosens the screw and the tool flicks around and is not only useless but downright dangerous. I only had 3 door frames to cut for laminate floor install and I had to re-tighten the blade more than 10 times. Should have paid the premium for a decent brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great DIY tool I haven't used this type of tool before and wished I had bought it when I was laying laminate flooring throughout the house - for cutting under architraves and door frames, and when hanging 11 new doors instead of hand chiselling out for the hinges. Although I have just started to use it , so far it this product has been reliable and easy to use. For a DIY tool it represents great value for money.
