Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little heat gun Just used the Energer 2000W Heat Gun to remove all signage from my van and it did the job perfectly well. Great purchase and excellent value

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It cost how much Great product for the money. Two of the nozzles both of the flat ones feel cheap and need a bit of "encouragement" to fit, but beyond that the product is great and is certainly better than the last gun I had, which was three times the price

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paint-stripper This tool worked very well: I mostly used it on the highest heat setting for fast stripping of gloss paint on wooden stairs. The low setting worked too, it just took longer but with less risk of the wood burning. Glass-protection nozzle was also used to effectively protect the emulsion paint on a wall next to the stairs. Good value tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW..What a tool Brought this, originally, to strip the paint off our stairs. Looking at the instructions, told me that high heat is 650 c. Well just used the heat to separate a rusted on ball joint from a track rod. This is a serious and versatile piece of workshop equipment.

Answer:
Hello.

Unfortunately we would not recommend using a heat gun to take paint of a plasterboard wall, as the heat from the gun could set fire to the plasterboard if you are not careful.

Thank you for using Q&A.

Hello Warr68. The Energer 2000W Heat Gun 240V is designed for stripping paint of Wood and other materials, not for soldering Copper Fittings. For copper Pipe soldering you could consider product codes: 71976, 71092.
