... but somewhat fragile. I've only used a few of these in the two days since I purchased them but two have broken - when releasing the lever there was a lot of resistance (they're quite resistant any way) and the lever broke off.
Love them for making wiring so easy. Great for stranded wire, one slot per connection. It's one thing to do wiring on paper, another for real - these make it easy to modify the layout.
Pity the largest size is 5-way, for my CH I could have used 7 ways for neutral and 11 for earthing.
Also they do seem to be very safe, no bare wires. The test slot is very thin, too thin for my little meter's probes. Ground the probes down but not pleased with the result.

I bought these as I always seem to be all fingers & thumbs when it comes to electrical connection blocks.
Even I could use these no bother at all, flip the lever open, slot in the wire, flip the lever shut - job done. No wondering if the fiddly screw is tight enough or whether the wire will just pull straight out again.

I've used these connectors for a variety of purposes and they're fantastic. They're real strength comes when crawling about under a floor or in an attic - a box of these and some wire strippers and you're sorted. I can not recommend them highly enough. As soon as the lever is down, the connection is solid and the unit is safe (no need for tape etc.). Over time, any degrading in the copper and the spring on the lever simply gets tighter so they're maintenance free. They are clearly dearer than choc block but they're a huge timesaver and I, personally, won't go back. Note that the company also makes some rather useful 'all in one' lighting connectors (L,N and E all in the one unit) but they're not for sale on screwfix yet - I hope they will be soon... If you haven't tried these, you should!
