I bought a pair of these valves to replace a couple of standard isolation valves after finding out that one wasn't shutting off at all and the other one was letting by.
When I went to fit them I thought it would be a lot more straight forward than what it was by just taking out the old valve, use the existing nut and olive and just replace the body, but found that the collar depth is shorter than that on what I would call a conventional run of the mill solation valve, so be prepared in having to remove the old olive and nut if you're replacing an existing valve.
Once fitted they seal really well even under pressure of the combi boilers hot water supply and with the full bore opening improves the flow of water through the tap.
On the whole the valve has an excellent build quality, install is fairly straight forward and will definitely convert to using full bore valves in the future.

Fitted for 6 weeks now and seized so tight that the cross slots burred off when I tried to close them. The cross slots aren't very deep, but they are wide (you'll struggle to find a screwdriver blade thick enough to fill the slot#. I used a thick steel washer holding that with mole grips to shift them #both of them). The metal slot top screw head is so soft, it's next to useless. I'll try to cut deeper slots in the heads, but failing that - mole grips are the only way to turn them on / off. Very disappointed indeed - not the sort of quality level I'd expect from Screwfix ! Avoid them.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by burtoboots torque to operate too high
Before fitting I found the torque required to close the valve excessive, but thought it may reduce once broken away and with a pipe to help hold it.
Fitted fine and no leaks. However breakaway torque required to open or close the valve is far too high, and the screwdriver flats are rounding out already - so fearful am I whether there is any chance of operating these in two years time with restricted access that I am stripping them out now and replacing them with a lever operated full bore valve. I suggest you go straight for one of those instead.
Easy fit with hex on body
No leaking on first fit
Breakaway torque far too high so screwdriver flats already rounding out
Need to be really precise to shut off flow

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Jaybeuu Leaked - don't buy
Worked fine for 15 months but then had to use for the first time to isolate the hot and cold supply to a bathroom. As soon as the screw was turned they both started leaking through the screw hole. Had to drain down the entire system so they were were useless for the task for which they were bought. Given that other reviewers have reported similar problems Screwfix should stop selling. Have replaced with WRAS and British Gas approved full bore lever valves. Would have got top marks for value had they worked, but it's cost me a lot to replace them so they were a false economy.
