Having had a brand new padlock jam after only a couple of weeks outside, I decided to look for a quality option that was well designed for the outdoors. This padlock is encased in rubber to protect moving metal parts from rust, and seems really well made. A previous reviewer was concerned about some of the rubber parts coming off - so far my one seems fine. Would recommend. 5 Nov 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mixed Bought this padlock as the price was very attractive; however, after a few days, one of the rubber rings on the shackle came off and went missing. As a result, the padlock was no longer waterproof. On inspection, I saw that the other rubber ring is not permanently attached to the shackle either, although it won't come off.
