XQ Lite LED PIR Floodlight Black 10W
Can't tell night from day
I am on my second unit having had the first exchanged. Both units are activated by the PIR but cant tell night from day. Adjusting the lux sensor makes no difference.
Its an easy 3 wire installation how could I go wrong?
Can anyone advise if there is a configuration set up required for the lux sensor?
OR what's going wrong?
Instructions are basic multi lingual and amount really to diagrams.

Only just installed it but it gives a bright, decent pool of light and I love the fact that the power consumption is so low.
For the price and perfromance - great

XQ Lite LED 10W
Some pros and some cons with this light. Firstly, as others have pointed out, connecting the cable to the unit is particularly fiddly and should (must) be done before you're up a ladder and attempting to install it. If the cable you wish to connect to the light is already wired into the building, you're going to find it very awkward indeed. Secondly, the mounting bracket is fixed to the light with Allen screws that require a 5mm Allen key. There is no 5mm Allen key supplied with this light so, if you don't already have one, you're stumped. Thirdly, the fixing screws to fit the bracket to the wall are much too small for the holes in the bracket so larger screws should be used.
On a positive side, this light seems robust and well made and I've no doubt that it will last for many, many years to come. Despite the shortcomings which, I feel, can easily be overcome by a competent DIY'er, I would recommend this light.

Small LED PIR light
A nice small powerful LED security light with PIR sensor. Bracket is a little weak but the light coverage good and bright white light. PIR sensor detects well from a good 10m range. Ideal for small gardens, drives etc
