Rated 5 out of 5Â by Dozey Excellent bit of kit
This is not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
It does what it says on the box. It's quiet, easy to install.
I only gave it four stars for features, as I think when spending this amount of money it should have a backdraught shutter.

Given some of the other reviews I thought it worth giving more info on the wiring & switched neutral comments.
I've just got one of these (19/9/13) from screwfix and I think they must have updated them since the previous comments.
In the instructions it clearly shows the terminals being T,L2,L1 and N with a switch in the L1/L2 for speed control (if necessary) and the T being switched for operation as you would expect.
This is confirmed by the labelling on the actual terminal block (moulded in the plastic of the housing).
So, it is pretty clear that, regardless of how they were previously designed/labeled they are now ok for switched line (UK) type installations.
One thing that is curious though is the internal wiring. The wire going to the N terminal is red, L1 is grey, L2 is Blue and T is black. I think that shows they haven't changed the internal board and wiring, just the labelling on the housing and the instructions. I guess that also confirms that anyone with an old unit could just have wired it with a fixed neutral and switched lives as some of the reviews have suggested.
BTW. Ignore my rating as I haven't actually installed and tested it yet. I'll report back if I have any problems.

I can only agree with what the other reviewers have said. This product, whatever Xpelair might say, should not be sold in the UK. The timer can only be triggered using a switched neutral, a practice frowned upon in the Wiring Regs.
Having done the first fix electrical on a bathroom project, this unit was useless to me. Nowhere in the Screwfix catalogue does it mention the requirement for a switched neutral. The supplied wiring diagram is vague and misleading. I rang the Xplelair technical support line and they emailed me a further two page addendum to the instructions to explain how to wire the switched neutral. Little use to me when my first fix cables have already been pulled through and covered.
The actual unit itself is sturdy and well made, but is simply unsuitable for the UK. I'm surprised Screwfix still have the unit on sale, especially when other reviewers have flagged the matter up for over a year now.
I have now purchased the equivalent Vent-Axia model and will be fitting it next week. Unfortunately the Vent-Axia was out of stock at Screwfix, and so I have bought it from a trade seller on Amazon. The Screwfix price including VAT is listed as £144.99 for the Vent-Axia, whereas from Amazon I have paid £115.00 including delivery.
It pays to shop around for such items.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by markyb7 Warning - Switches on Neutral
The supplied instructions are vague and labelling on the circuit board is incorrect.
Suspect that was manufactured abroad and adapted for UK use and somewhere along the way the stock/assembly/instructions have all got mixed up.
Managed to get a workaround to make product work, which according to both the labelling and instructions - is wrong !
Unless you are an electrician who is happy to supply and fit a product that switches on the Neutral side.... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !
