Rated 5 out of 5 by Hose Excellent very easy to fit and only requires minimal tool's to fit 2 Mar 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great job Have used these tails many times. Now as a rule I dump the solid copper tails that come with taps (too soft to be of any real use) and use these in conjunction with isolation valves. Makes installation easy and if maintenance is required in the future they make life really really easy 22 Jan 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Just the job! Needed new flexi-connectors as the tap came with copper pipes and the existing ones didn't fit. The assistant came up with the solution and these did the job perfectly at a ridiculously low price. 12 Sep 2015

I'd like to swap the kitchen (monbloc) tap - intending to use compression flexible hoses, eg M12 15mm x 300mm x 8mm Pk2.

The new tap has solid pipes that come with it, but their bore is ~ 5.5mm at the tap fitting. Would these hoses be the right ones to use?

I'd like to add compression isolator valves, but will I need a bit of 15mm pipe between isolator valve and hose, or will the olive and nut on the hose just go as replacement for the olive and nut on one end of the isolator valve?

Hi SueB2,

As every job is different and can have other problems that need to be solved in a situation like this we would ask you to consult with a local plumber who will be able to view the job and give you the right information.

Answer:
One look at the isolator valves showed that I would need a short bit of pipe as the gender of the connection needed to change.

So, job done.
