Vent-Axia 100T W Axial Bathroom Timer Extractor Fan
We had our bathroom redone and bought this Fan to replace an noisy extractor. Honestly this was so quite, the electrician thought there was something wrong with the wires.

Silent extractor fan
Been waiting years to retire and get cash to have key jobs done. Rely on tradesman's advice he said Ventaxia silent fan.
He installed in about 45 minutes - we both had to take cover off to hear it was working.
Has improved ventilation, but also cut down draughts from the old fitting.
Not sure if I can turn it right off, but also don't see why I would (maybe holidays?).
I have had many bad experiences with tradesmen, this was a joy - I keep checking all the little jobs, like fan, for pleasure of using a well-designed product :) .

Problem with the flaps
Agree most of the points made by previous reviewers but would add one further.
The spigot has a ridge running all the way down one side which houses the wires to the motor, making it difficult to fit the flexi pipe, especially when ceiling mounted above a toilet or other obstruction! However, having got the flexi pipe fitted, the convolutions will not allow the flaps to open. I'm now exploring the possibility of adding a length of rigid pipe to the spigot in the hope that it will provide clearance for the flaps.

Good value for money. A shame the back is a bit flimsy. Be aware there is a 15 second delay before it starts.
