Rated 4 out of 5 by Staples and Nails It staples and nails as expected. Easy to load, easy to use (keep it vertical). Just works. 12 Aug 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value for money I need to lay down some 12sqM of hardboard as a floor lining & this should reduce the effort of inserting 500+ nails by hand. Have yet to do the floor but seems fine on the bits I have tried - 22mm staples straight into treated battens no problem. I have gone for 19mm staples or the floor. Suspect not ideal for continuous professional use, but looks ideal for me. 14 Jul 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good up to a Staple Great tool does the job, takes 25mm and 32 mm brads, but can you get replacement staples, now there's the question? Bought tacwise staples but too wide. Eg: staples with machine 5.65mm x 18mm, tacwise staples 5.95mm x 18mm. Now you would think the store would stock the staples. Tried everywhere on internet, but no luck. Also I see there are 'finishing nails' available, I think, They are in competition. So if you want a brad gun, I can't fault it. 12 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value I have used this to fit a new Banister in my house and have the staircase proper to do next. I used it with 15mm brads to tak the 32mm Fillets used to position the spindles. It did the job perfectly. My only suggestion is not to press too hard onto the surface when firing the gun. It can leave a slight mark. I found it better to use moderate pressure and then tap the brad in with a small hammer. Gave me a cleaner finish. I went for 15mm and 20mm brads (17279 & 14871) as well. Obviously time will tell but I would suggest that this is great value and a must for the DIY War Chest. 1 Jul 2016

Hello Yaza.

Unfortunately this Titan 25mm Corded Nailer / Stapler 240V is not suitable for doing decking as maximum length of nails it can fire is 25mm.

Thank you for using Q&A.

The carrier states 15mm 20mm 25mm 32mm

I've only tried 25mm & 32mm, they are so thin you can nip them off with side cutters if needed.

With smaller brads you will need to adjust the power control to avoid damage to wood surface.

Answer:
Hello Wireman,

I presume the tongue & groove is wood also? Unless it's anything harder, this Titan nailer should be ideal for fixing tongue & groove to softwood beams.

Hello Katiemac,

Every installation/usage is different due to the varying circumstances of the site and environment.

Therefore we advise that you contact a local tradesperson who will be able to view and assess your particular requirements. They will be able to provide further advice for the installation/usage of the electric nailer

Thank you for using Q&A.
