Rated 4 out of 5 by Stapling fence feather board Used for stapling feather board to fence rails using 22mm staples. Did the job really well. First couple of staples were a bit proud but once I got the hang of keeping pressure on it they went all the way home. Cheap, no frills, but good sturdy product. 18 May 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by nail gun Bought for nailing feather edge cladding, doing a great a job and no problems with it at all. Made the job a lot easier and quicker 16 May 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid performer for the price When my old unit died, I needed one quickly. I wasn't about to spend a huge amount of money for a couple of small jobs. It isn't too heavy, so I could use it one handed on a ladder and the cord was plenty long enough. For the price, this is a rock solid unit. Yes, occasionally the brads don't go all the way in. It takes 2 seconds with a hammer to fix that and is probably due to me not holding it with the right amount of pressure. On my job of over 200 brads, it slightly missed on maybe half a dozen. Yes, it dented the softwood two or three times, but that is probably me pressing too hard. As a DIY'er, you could do a whole lot worse, but as a professional craftsman, you can probably justify the more expensive ones. 15 May 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by well worth the money read previous reviews on this product and was a bit unsure as to buy, usually have more expensive ones but glad i did now,i've used it to fasten some fencing slats and on just under full power it shot nails well below surface, had to turn it down to half, having the adjustable impact dial is a good feature, can now do big jobs as well as smaller intricate ones, also good that it comes with a 2 yr warranty instead of the usual 1 yr 14 May 2016

Hello Liverpool35,

The staples supplied are not really for external use. We recommend Heavy Duty External or Galvanised staples for external use.
