Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nailed it This is a good nailer and works well. However, for some unknown reason, I thought it could also take staples in addition to the brad nails. It can't. It takes just the nails.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Titan nail gun Bought this item to assemble some crates. Always fancied a nail gun but have always been put off with the price. Checked the website and came across the Titan nail gun. I have various Titan tools, Table saw and a 5Kg hammer drill and both hve been fantastic! especially with the 2 year warranty you really can not go wrong. Anyway back into the Nail Gun. Bought the item unpackaged the item and loaded the brad nails, fired them straight into 2 x 12mm mdf pieces of wood. Happy Days! Lots of power all nice and flush within the wood and feels like a solid piece of kit. Unfortunately after 10 nails the gun packed in....lost power completely. Disappointed as never had problems with the brand before? Back to store, swapped for another unit and back home to finish the job. No problems with the unit so far, been used to assemble 3 crates, works great. Some nails are hit and miss with regards to finishing flush however I have now found a system which works great, lean into the wood with the gun and use both hands to keep the gun straight. Perfect! Highly recommend for your man cave, great for fencing panels and feather board. Use finishing nails for a cleaner finish, internal work. Only rated 3 stars for reliability as I unfortunately purchased a faulty unit at the beginning, however swapped with ease at the store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job, no hassle Bought this specifically to nail laminate beading to the skirting board, using the supplied 25mm nails. I had read the reviews first, noting the comments about jamming. But decided it was a good price, and worth the purchase. Having reviewed the instructions I put it to work. Did some testing first to get the hang of using the tool. Then onto the real thing. Did the job very nicely. No jamming. My only finding was the nails didn't quite go all the way in, and needed a gentle tap with a pin hammer and punch to finish off. Then I was using 25mm nails, when perhaps I could have got away with 15mm.

Longer brads?

The cartridge that you insert the brads into says it takes up to 32mm brads. I can't find anything about this in the manual, so can anybody confirm that it does take 32mm brads and also has enough power to hammer them home?

I am looking at replacing the skirting in my house and wondering if this product would be suitable for fixing the new stuff?
Would take hours to go round with the old hammer and pins.

Answer:
Hello Maxwell09,

This product is suitable for skirting. You just load it up with the brads of the length you require and then fasten the skirting to your desired location and is much quicker than a hammer and nails.

Thank you for using Q&A.
