Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product Needed a stapler to fix artificial grass to decking. Picked up this one at my local store. Found it easy to use and did the job with no hassle. Comes complete with staples and nails. Excellent tool for the price. 16 Jul 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by You get what you pay for.... I wanted to purchase a nail gun to attach scotia trim to skirting boards to complete a new laminate floor. I read all the reviews on this product and noted they varied from appalling to wonderful. Worth a try I thought....how wrong I was. Thankfully I tried the product on a spare piece of mdf trim before I tackled the main job.Even on max setting the nail barely penetrated and stood proud of the surface. As another reviewer commented ,using a nailpunch rather defeats the object! The unit was returned to Screwfix for a no quibble refund....and I will go back to using No more Nails to glue the trim. 6 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap but good For the price I expected it to last ten minutes, but so far it has done me proud. The trigger is a little temperamental (though that may be my fault from the adhesive residue I had left on my fingers). It packs a punch for the price and I would buy another (normally I would not entertain a low budget tool like this but it had one job to do then could be disposed of, BUT it has found a place in my workshop). 29 Jun 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Titan 240V Stapler Very good for the price. Use for stapling thin ply to wood frames. Reliability good so far, but with 2 year guarantee not worried. Screwfix do not stock the Tacwise type 53 stapler recommend in the instruction manual. Bit of a oversight. Got them from Tool station ! ! 10 Jun 2016

Hi Chiper,

This will function well in fitting the carpet it just depends if the legs of the staples or nails will have enough purchase to hold the carpet there for an extended period of time.

Thank you for using Q and A.

Answer:
Hi Stupeg,

It may be suitable as long as there is enough of the nail going into the plasterboard. it may be better to use a more powerful nailer to ensure that it has enough hold.

Thank you for using Q and A.

STAPLES

This is a great stapler but I cant find staples to fit it. The reccomended Tacwise 53 are too tight in the slot and wont move forward. Can anyone reccomend the correct ones please as I am very happy with the stapler but will have to return it if i cant get staples. Thanks.
