Titan TTB353SHR 2500W 80kg/hr Electric Garden Shredder 230-240V
Good good value shredder
Tremendous value. Seems solid and up to the job although I have to date only used it 3 times albeit with a mountain of branches each time. Reasonably quiet too. Cannot think why anybody should want to pay more unless they are a professional gardener.

Good tool, great value.
I looked up shredders on a consumer review site and this one did almost as well as their recommend one, yet costs about £75 less. Importantly for me, after previous experience of shredder use, it scored well for not blocking and not being painfully noisy. So I took a chance.
It arrived in a broken box, but that didn't seem to have done any damage to the contents. There is a small amount of assembly needed, for which the instructions were scant but adequate. Getting the wheels fixed on was the hardest thing; the instructions said "tap with a hammer", but the reality is "thump the hubs good 'n' hard". And it's heavy. If you're a slight or delicate person, have a friend on hand to help.
I spent a day shredding, and formed a strategy after 2 blocks of the outlet space. Don't push tangled twigs in the hopper, because they will form a "safety net" at the outlet, blocking all later output. And do take care: when a twig strikes the blades at a key angle, it can bounce right out at you. The advice about gloves and glasses is sound!
Overall, it does a reasonable job, quite slowly. It is not oppressively noisy and, if you feed it sensibly, it doesn't block. It is easy to move so long as you don't need to lift it. It is relatively cheap, arrived promptly, and needs no noticeable skill to assemble or use.
Shredding is dull. This machine will not change that. But it is useful in garden debris clearance, and at least you don't have to pay a fortune to be bored :)

Third Shredder I've brought and by far the worst!
Compared to the Bosch it replaced it's terrible.
There's a basic design problem in that the bottom of the shoot has some plastic fingers so you spend about 80% of your time undoing the safety lock, removing the bit that are jammed then doing the safety screw up again. In the end I cut them off, improved the shredder's performance about 5 time, but still pretty poor.
The shredded material is not a fine mulch like the Bosch and Acco did, but a series of largish lumps and strips of bark if you're shredding branches, it would compost but so slowly. Even worse you can't get the replacement cutters, one of the reasons I thought I'd try it.
All in all the worst buy I've ever made

Great value, plenty of power, very impressed.
I have shredded everything from ivy, to birch, to old dried out hawthorn trees with this.
Just keep an eye on the hopper getting blocked and all will be good.
Blades are reversible and easily sharpened.
