Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the Job Wanted a cheap grinder - this one ticked all the boxes and performed like my previous much more expensive one. Good buy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid grinder Have used this now on a few occasions and not been disappointed so far. The motor has a fairly soft start but is very strong and up to any of the light tasks asked of it, cutting 1/2" steel round bar etc. The carry case is fine but like most of these it's far from easy getting everything that came out back in. Held back on reliability but hopefully it'll last, now just to get more discs...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful Incredibly powerful and robust. Controlling it until you get the hand isn't the easiest thing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it I have a few titan tools. Some really good some really bad. This was really bad and an accident waiting to happen. The shaft lock button flew off and the disc jammed. Angle grinders dangerous already spend the little bit extra on the equivilent makita. Titan very noisey -makita not Titan on off button gets stuck -makita doesn't Titan gets hot easily -makita doesn't Titan heavy and too big to hold comfortably -makita lighter and better to hold. Titan tiny case means you need to take off disc. Makita fits in case with disc on. On the plus side a quick release on the titan guard is preferable

Answer:
Hi Dazdd, We would not regard this and other small angle grinders as being suitable for taking down a brick wall. You may wish to look at the larger 9" / 230mm angle grinders, SDS plus drills fitted with a chisel.

I'm planning to cut paving slabs, concrete gravel boards and possibly concrete fencing posts. Will this do the job or should I go for a 230mm grinder?

Hello Bug2016.

The titan 4½" angle grinder is not really suitable for what you are doing, possible alternative, Titan TTB283GRD 9" angle grinder 230V (40362).

Thank you for using Q&A.
