Erbauer Tile & Glass Drill Bit Set 3Pcs
Drilled through hard tiles
I found that the ceramic tiles I stuck on the wall are made from the toughest material I've seen. All my normal masonry drills simply made no impression. Bought the Erbauer Tile and Glass drill and it did the job with no fuss.
I used the small size first, and cooled it with water. Took about 5 minutes to go through the hard tile. Then used the next two sizes to enlarge the hole. These took about ten seconds to go through, leaving a nice clean hole.
For comparison I used the small drill on some other (normal) ceramic tiles. It sailed through those in a few seconds.
I have used the drills for about a dozen holes so far, and although they still drill perfectly, I can't believe they will last, so I bought some more to keep ni the tool box.
Excellent drills for tiles.

Great Drill Bits
Great drills for Ceramic tiles as they go through them like a hot knife through butter. Not ideal for Porcelain though as that really needs diamond drills. Be careful after going through the tile and into the wall as I broke the tip off a 6mm drill doing that. I recommend that once you have cleared through the tile, change to a masonry bit :o)

I purchased 2 packs as not sure how they would cope, only drilled 4 holes so far but more than adequate for the job, tiles are porcelain and tuff to drill but the bits have coped. Will update soon as more holes to drill.

I destroyed 4 masonry drill bits trying to drill extra hard tiles but these bits just bored straight through the same ones.
