Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use. This roof seal is so easy to brush on and brushes wash out in water. I certainly waterproofed the old felt on my shed roof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really works, Tried a few different products over the years but this one works, give it a nice heavy coat, it dries really quick and does the job. This is the third time I have used it and no complaints. will use it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy to work with I have used Thompson's roof seal a few times now and prefer it to the bitumen based products and find it does not crack easily. It has good flexibility and can be applied easily with a paint brush and allows you to get the material into cracks or suspect areas. It is much cheaper at Screwfix than other DIY outlets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I've used this product several times and it never lets me down. Easy to apply, dries quickly and has good performance. I stick with what I know and keep using the products that work well. This product is highly recommended.

I have recently replaced the felt on my flat roof shed and I have noticed the water is leacking from the joints and from the nails I have applied to fix the felt. Can you please advise what will be the best solution to fix the leakage.

Thank you for your enquiry.

The product you mention is intended for application to the whole area and would not be effective if used in this way. Thompsons Emergency Roof Seal would be a better product for your needs, it contains fibres to reinforce the area of repair/application.

Thank you for your enquiry.
This product may not stick well to the surface due to the nature of the previous application.
You may consider using Ronseal Fencelife Plus as this is suitable for smooth timber as well as rough wood.

Thanks for your question. Of course this product is only recommended for roofing, if run off from the roof may enter the pond that it would be wise not to use the product in this situation.

Thanks for your question, I'm afraid however it would not be suitable for a lead roof. You could use Isoflex Liquid Rubber (which is available from Screwfix) but it would be highly advisable to prime the roof first with the Isoflex Special Primer to ensure optimum adhesion.

Thanks for your question. If the Emergency Roofseal is weathered (1 month plus) then it will be fine to apply the 10 Year Roof Seal.
