Telescopic Bottle Trap 32mm
Great Trap, in the right hands
There are to many poor reviews of this product. Fortunately the positive ones are now catching up. I recently installed 3 of these under the same sink, on each of the outlets while tidying up a messy installation. Two of which went on to old strainers, and one that went onto a brand new one. I had absolutely no issues with any of them. My trick was to unpack them, unscrew the trap and add a small amount of silicone grease to the thread and o ring, and give them a firm nip by hand. They sealed perfectly and i had no leaking at all. But then again, none of us qualified engineers using these have had problems ;) ... I've had no trouble with any floplast gear i've had over the years. You've just got to know what you're doing.

Have now bought 2 and both leaked on the thread. Will be taking both back and getting the McAlpine version. don't bother with this cheap version.

Its a cheap trap - nuff said
Bought this to replace a trap that was an existing one that was "crumbling", and as was already fitted didnt want to have to modify the installed piping, so chose the telescopic version for flexibilty, I thought!. However, this made it slightly longer, even when fully retracted than the old one, so was a very tight fit, just a word of warning, in the end it worked, but I was close to having to go back to the store to get it swapped.

Simple bottle trap
Does what it says. Rings could be thicker - I had to use one I already had so that the connection screwed up properly and didn't leak. But good value
