I bought them to cure a creaky chipboard floor and they worked a treat. Always tempting to go for cheap screws, especially when you need loads of them , but with these there is no doubt that you are getting the very best available and that nothing else performs as well. The speed you can drive them is incredible The T20 head is a revelation, even better than Spax pozidriv, which itself is head and shoulders above the cheaper ones.
p.s.The screws had no trouble penetrating both sides of a hidden 22mm hot water pipe either, but that's another story altogether.

Was doubtful on these and they are quite expensive but worth it, easy to use, self drilling, self countersinking, although I did drill a pilot hole otherwise there were quite hard and slow to drill in with an impact driver. The 'split' tread works great to pull boards and joists together.

Absolutally brilliant. I have a house which is about 12 years old and therefore all of the floors upstairs creak (they were nailed down so these have worked loose). I used these in between each nail to secure the floor and it has worked a treat! The floor no longer creaks and they were really easy to use. The T20 head (bit supplied) meant that they did not slip and the fact that they did not need pilot holes / countersinking meant the job was actually quite quick. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone,

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jon12 No more squeaking
Brought 2 tubs of these to fix down our squeaking living room floor before we had it re-carpeted. Can't comment on there being no need to pilot/countersink as I did as a precaution.
- Bit comes with box
- Bit never slipped with over 2 boxes worth installed into floor
- Thread at top of shank fastens boards securely, no squeaking since
- Makes the other rooms we haven't had done more noticeable!
We're having another room done in a couple of weeks and I will most definitely be using these again.
